Friday evening was military appreciation night at the zoo. Gaga's in town so she got to tag along.
Mayson decided she HAD to push her stroller around instead of riding in it. When you have a very opinionated toddler you pick you battles and this was not one I was willing to fight. Plus as an added bonus all of the extra walking should wear her out, right?!

She wasn't a huge fan of the anteater.
She would squat down like this at almost all of the animals and lean in closer like she was trying to get a better look. She also had to wave and say "bye" to all of the animals as we left each enclosure.

Mayson's favorite was the tigers. She kept "roaring" at them!

And the hit of the night wasn't even an animal- it was the splash park. As soon as we walked by it she started saying, "Pool. Play, pool!"
Bonus mommy points for me! At the last minute I decided to pack her swim stuff just in case she wanted to play.
